Gingerbread Tea - The Seaside Museum & Historical Society presents their annual tea on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving and on the first three Saturdays in December, each year. The Butterfield Cottage

December 26 - January 1: Whale Watch Week. Volunteers help you spot whales all along the coast.

Seaside's Promenade is legendary and stretches 2 miles along the beautiful ocean beaches. Completed in 1921, the Turnaround is located where Broadway intersects with the Prom. This marks the official end of the Lewis and Clark Trail which is marked with a bronze statue.

Salt Works National Monument is the location where Lewis & Clark extracted salt for the preservation of meats and fish during their long trip eastward. The monument is located in Seaside, on Lewis and Clark Way between Beach Drive and the Prom

Seaside Aquarium is one of the oldest on the west coast and located in the old natatorium built in 1937. Changing displays and their famous seals entice visitors again and again.

Located in the historic Butterfield Cottage, the Seaside Museum contains a vast history of the area from the earliest native inhabitants to Lewis & Clark to recent historic events.

Tillamook Rock Light, known as "Terrible Tilly" is located 1 1/2 miles out at sea. Built in 1880, it is currently privately owned but can be seen from Seaside and Cannon Beach.
