Cape Perpetua is the highest point on the Oregon Coast and contains some of the most intriguing sites. Be sure and visit Devil's Churn and the Spouting Horn and hike some of the 23 miles of trails.

Heceta Head Lighthouse located at Devil's Elbow State Park, a popular beach and picnic area north of Florence. A trail leads to the lighthouse and keeper's house with daily tours during the summer and on weekends the rest of the year.
For a different route, try Forest Service Road 55 to Yachats. Quickly escape the hustle and bustle of summer time traffic with this beautiful 19 mile ride. Just a tad north of the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area.

Rock Creek USFS campground From Yachats, OR, take 101 south 9.4 miles to campground sign. Turn left at sign into campground . Lovely campground located along Rock Creek in a grove of large, old Spruce trees with lush green undergrowth. Open May 10 through October $12 per day; 14 day maximum; 15 sites, No RV hookups;
Smelt Sands - Yachats Walk the 3/4 mile historic 804 trail, explore the tidepools, watch for whales.
Yachats Ocean Loop - turn on Yachats Ocean Road, look carefully, Fantastic 1 mile drive south of Yachats, basalt formations create blowholes and fascinating swirls of water as the ocean rips into this oceanfront area.
Neptune Wayside - 3 mi s of Yachats, View Cummings Creek or hike down to look for agates, at low tide explore the tidepools and walk south to see a natural seacave. No Fee
