Westport Old-Fashioned Fourth - Crafts, music and food at the Maritime Museum.  Fireworks over the Bay, July 4 

Tokeland Independence Parade, July 5th

Aberdeen Fourth of July at Morrison Riverfront Park, starts at noon.  Arts and crafts, food concessions, music, children's carnival, games and 20 minute "Fireworks Extravaganza" over the Chehalis River.

Washington State International Kite Festival - Kite festival held annually on the Long Beach Peninsula. Events, links to local attractions, pictures and information on flyers from past years. Aug 20 - 26

22nd Annual Sandsations  Whether novice or expert, dig in for tons of sandy beach fun at the sandcastle competition in Long Beach.  Free sculpting lessons, pet parade, beach bonfire and more.  July 20-21

Windless Kite Festival - Indoor tricks, synchronized pairs, and musical accompaniments are among the captivating competition this indoor event, in its 5th year.  Jan 14&15  Ocean Park

Seafood Festival - Featuring Willapa Bay's signature oysters, even includes live music, oyster shucking contests and plenty of Pacific Northwest seafood.  Ocean Park 

NW Garlic Festival in Ocean Park combines the flavor of garlic with the flavors of the sea. Features 80 food and craft vendors, entertainment, the Doggie Olympics and more.  June

The Dixieland Jazz Festival brings bands from around the U.S.at five venues throughout Ocean Shores. Admission charged. Nov 2 - 4

Sand and Sawdust Festival - Teams of master sand sculptors, amateurs and families compete on the beach while at the Convention Center, Master chainsaw carvers compete.

Rainfest celebrates the waters of the Olympics that create the lush rainforests of the area.  Music, arts, hands on activities and more fun in Forks WA. April 20

Forks Heritage Days spans two weekends and celebrates the logging and pioneer cultures of Forks, Washington with a host of events including. Little Logger contest, the Shipwreck Symposium, The Annual Fish & Brew Contest and lots more fun! Sept 29 - Oct 6

A grand parade, street fair, canoe races, traditional "slahal" games, dancing, singing, feasting and a spectacular fireworks show are all part of Makah Days, August 24 - 26 in Neah Bay.

The Jazz in the Olympics 2008 Festival features 10 great acts performing over the course of four days at three terrific venues.  This spectacular event occurs April 22 - 29, so make your plans now!!

If you miss the festival, there's still great jazz every month on the peninsula sponsored by the Jazz in the Olympics Society.

112th Irrigation Festival celebrating the work of 4 visionaries who sought to bring water from the Dungeness River back in 1895.  Festival features numerous events including parades, logging show, crazy daze, arts & crafts, car show and more.  May 5 - 12th  Sequim

Sequim Lavender Festival - Opportunity to tour seven farms in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley, open aire market, demonstrations on lavender crafts, aromatherapy, dance, music, clowns, face painting, entertainment and fun! July 20 - 22

Port Townsend Rhododendron Festival and all the great events surrounding it, crafts and flower shows, family fun, the carnival, bicycle and running events --all crowned with the Rhododendron Festival Grand Parade.  May 14 - 19

Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival is the premier annual celebration of wooden boat enthusiasts in North America.  Celebrate the artistry and craftsmanship of the wooden boat, from the fishing dory to the personal yacht to historic Coast Guard vessels.  Enjoy hundreds of boats, expert demonstrations, and activities for the whole family!  Sept 7 - 9

Schooner Martha is a B. B. Crowninshield design built at W. F. Stone Boat Yard in San Francisco with Honduran mahogany interior and leaded glass cabinetry below decks. Celebrate her 100th birthday at a series of events including the Olympia Wooden Boat Fair and the Port Townsend Celebration in May.
