Fleet of Flowers Memorial Day Observance, in Depoe Bay is a stirring ceremony held each year since 1945.  The fleet of flower boats pass under the Highway 101 bridge, form a circle in the bay and cast their memorial wreaths onto the water.  At this moment a Coast Guard helicopter lowers its wreath into the center as military jets cross overhead, an awe-inspiring tribute to those who have lost their lives at sea.

Annual Depoe Bay Indian Style Salmon Bake Dinner includes Salmon, slaw, garlic bread, ice cream and a drink  September 19, 2009 at Depoe Bay City Park.  Followed by Wine, Cheese and Jazz in the Park on Sunday



Whale Watching Center is staffed by park rangers to answer questions and help spot whales.  Whale watching peaks the last week of December and the last week of March, but whales can be seen all year.  Open Daily in Summer, Wed - Sun between Oct and May

Otter Crest Viewpoint - 2 miles south of Depoe Bay, 500' above the ocean atop Cape Foulweather, named by Captain Cook in March of 1778, offers spectacular views and is a favorite whale watching spot.

Devils Punch Bowl - 3 miles south of Depoe Bay, Days use, no fee park named from the bowl shaped formations where ocean waves swirl and churn, particularly wild during winter storms.

Boiler Bay Viewpoint - 1 mile north, interesting basalt rock area with many ocean-going birds and great tide pools.  Named for a 1910 ship explosion, you can see the boiler at low tide.

Beverly Beach State Park  On the east side of U.S. 101, 5 miles south of Depoe Bay  Campground open year-round.  Showers. Trails. Market and laundromat facilities next to the campground.  Accessible campsites (1F, 1E, 1T),
