| Port Angeles is a marvelous area with an array of attractions awaiting the visitor. From the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the wilds of Olympic National Park, you'll be relaxed and rejuvenated with a visit to Port Angeles. The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center features contemporary art with its outdoor exhibit as the centerpiece. Wander through the Webster Estate grounds and view over 40 pieces of art complimenting the natural setting.
The entrance to the northern section of majestic Olympic National Park is located just 6 miles south of Port Angeles. This area is a starting point to the popular Hurricane Ridge, Goblin's Gate, and the Heart of the Hills trail and campground.
One of the most beautiful points in the Olympic National Park is Lake Crescent, just 20 miles from Port Angeles. A variety of trails wind through the area including the trail to the 90' Marymere Falls. After viewing these scenic areas, spend some relaxing time at Sol Duc Hot Springs, then finish your day with a short hike to Sol Duc Falls.
If you'd rather spend your time beach camping, then Pacific Beach State Park is the destination. In the town of Pacific Beach, the park features 60 campsites and 2,000 feet of shoreline.
Enjoy a walk through the Valley Creek Estuary a waterfront park that also seeks to educate in the areas of salmon and waterfowl enhancement.
The award winning City Pier is home to the Fiero Marine Lab and the start of the very popular Waterfront Trail. This unique 5 mile trail wanders throughout the waterfront area and out to the unique Ediz Hook.
Another interesting area to visit is the Port Angeles Port. With 2 terminals to accommodate barges to supertankers, this is quickly becoming a busy seaport while maintaining launch and mooring facilities for recreationists.
