Olympic Peninsula

Port of Ilwaco - Spectacular fishing on the Columbia River from 500 lb sturgeon to smaller 50 lb salmon!  

Pacific Pines State Park - Great clamming and surf fishing at this day use park a mile north of Ocean Park on the Long Beach Peninsula.

Duck Lake, in Ocean Shores, provides a variety of activities including some of Washington's best fishing with boat launches available.

The rock jetty near Westhaven State Park at Westport is a good spot for catching salmon, rockfish, ling cod, and perch. 

Lake Sylvia is a peaceful mountain lake with non-motorized boats only.  Located between Olympia and Westport, 1 mile north of Montesano, great place for summer camping and bass and trout fishing.

Ocean City State Park is a favorite during razor clam season, a license is required.

Lake Crescent, in Olympic Park, is open to fishing and boating; boats and canoes can be rented from various vendors in the area.

Enjoy clamming, crabbing, and fishing in Hood Canal at Potlatch State Park, three miles south of Hoodsport.

Lake Cushman State Park, seven miles west of Hoodsport, is a popular spot with anglers for cutthroat, Kokanee, and rainbow trout.
